The Rinse DJ will hit cities in Canada and the US through March, including WMC.
Wayne Goodlitt is one of the originators of UK funky, with the early 12-inches on his own Roska Kicks & Snares imprint helping to lay the foundations for genre. Since then, he's developed a more hybrid sound comprised of dubstep, funky, garage and house, as displayed on his second album last year, which was "full of three-to-four minute genre-hopping nuggets" according to an RA review at the time.
Roska's first Transatlantic trip of 2013 will begin with a show at the Electric Owl in Vancouver on March 8th. The night next he hits Calgary's Hifi Club with a support lineup yet to be announced, and then a week later on the 16th he'll play in Winnipeg at the Green Room. The short US leg will begin at San Francisco's Monarch on the 19th, followed by Output in NYC the night after and then a handful of WMC showcases, including Crosstown Rebels' Get Lost Miami party on the 23rd and an appearance at Eve the same night.
Tickets for the Miami party are available on RA.
