  • Fade-In will make its debut in Brussels on May 8th. The one-day festival is a collaboration from the teams behind Mannheim's long-running Time Warp event and Brussels' Fuse club. They see it as an exercise in getting back to basics: for all intents and purposes, Fade-In is a rave, taking over three rooms in a Victorian-style postal warehouse and filling them with a number of notables from the European festival circuit. The lineup in room one—with Richie Hawtin, Sven Väth and Loco Dice featured—should feel familiar to anyone who's followed Time Warp over the years. Big-room techno from Adam Beyer and Chris Liebing will dominate room two, while a more eclectic lineup headed up by Scuba, Skudge and Hessle Audio co-conspirators Ben UFO & Pearson Sound soundtracks room three. Subb-an, Pan-Pot, Gary Beck and native son Locked Groove are also on the bill. The organizers note that more artists will be announced closer to the date of the festival, so keep an eye on Fade-In's website for the full lineup.
