- The Hamburg artist's third album is due out on Solomun's label in June.
Stimming will release an eponymous album through Diynamic Music on June 3rd.
Martin Stimming has maintained a close relationship with Solomun's label since debuting in 2007 with the Funkworm EP. Since then he's appeared on a further 10 EPs and put out two albums—2009's Reflections and Liquorice in 2011. The label says inspiration for Stimming came "on the beaches of the Baltic Sea, during a five-week retreat from reality" in winter 2012. It features two vocal turns from singer Urzula Amen, on "Ferdinand" and "From One Cell," and strings from Dylan Naylor on "Dylan's Theme." It's already been a busy year over at Diynamic HQ, with Solomun announcing two summer residencies in Ibiza—Sundays at Pacha and Tuesdays at Sankeys—as well as a debut album from David August.
