  • Dissolve will hold a Morphine Records showcase on April 13th. Morphine was set up by Berlin-based experimental techno artist Morphosis, AKA Rabih Beaini, back in 2005. As well as acting as a conduit for Beaini's own material, the label has released music from the likes of Shake, Madteo, and, most recently, Container, whose Treatment EP came out this month. The Dissolve party, taking place at an undisclosed location in New York City, will showcase the label's noisier side. Chicago's Jamal Moss, known for his rugged analogue techno and house under the name Hieroglyphic Being, will headline. Philadelphia duo Metasplice, who incorporate harsh noise influences into their techno, will support with a live set, along with a performance from local NYC composer and ambient artist Ezekiel Honig. Dissolve residents The Vly House and Arjun will handle the evening's opening slots. Tickets for the party are available on RA.
