- The Buffalo-based techno selector will debut in Chicago and Detroit next month.
- Mike Parker will bring his hard-hitting, abstract techno style to Chicago and Detroit next month. The Buffalo-based DJ, producer and Geophone label head will be playing each city for the first time, as he prepares for the June release of his Lustrations LP on Prologue. On Saturday the 4th, he'll fly into Chicago to headline Only For Robots, a party at Primary hosted by the Don't Trust Humans crew. Jeff Derringer, who's fresh from his debut at Berghain in Berlin, will lead the night's local support. Parker is then confirmed for two appearances in Detroit during Movement Festival weekend. On Friday, May 24th, he'll link up again with Derringer at the Perc Trax Showcase at The Works, an official opening-night event. The two DJs are on the club's main room lineup for that one along with Perc and Rrose (who will DJ). On Monday the 27th, Parker will play the festival itself, taking a turn on the Underground Stage decks.
