  • Deep Blue has announced the details of its next three shows, taking place through April and May. DJ Rooz's Deep Blue events have been happening at various venues around San Francisco since 2006 with a particular focus on deep house sounds, but occasionally dipping into techno. The party will bring Hot Creations head Jamie Jones to Public Works on April 19th for his first Bay Area appearance in almost two years. Support will come from a cast of locals including Deep Blue residents Rooz and Bo (Borzu), Sunset's Galen and As You Like It's Mossmoss. Shonky will also make his first appearance in SF after several years for a show the next weekend at Monarch, backed up by residents and local Rich Korach. Finally, on May 10th, Deep Blue will host another party at Public Works—this time with Detroit techno founding father Derrick May. Rooz and Bo will again support Tickets for all three gigs are available on Deep Blue's promoter page.
