Red Bull Music Academy hits Bristol with John Talabot

- Red Bull Music Academy will hold a Bristol Session on May 4th. The event offers a taste of RBMA while the academy proper happens in New York City throughout the month. Taking place at The Blue Mountain, the two-room affair features John Talabot, Detroit house producer Andrés and disco head Justin Vandervolgen in the main area. The other room, curated by Bristol record shop and label Idle Hands, showcases a number of local acts including Tectonic head Pinch, Kowton and October. There will also be a free daytime lectures from 3 PM until 7 PM, with Talabot, Andrés and Idle Hands boss man Chris Farrell giving talks. Tickets for the party are available here on RA.
