  • Dubby techno purveyor Fenin has a new album due for release next month called Heartware. The Hamburg-born, Berlin-based artist's production history stretches back more than a decade: aside from appearing on Echocord and Dock Records (he runs the latter alongside the brothers Lars and Gunnar Hemmerling), he's a fixture at Shitkatapult, which has featured artists like Apparat, Anders Ilar, and Cristian Vogel over the years. Heartware will be his fourth full-length for the label, and the first since 2010's Mixes And Maxis. The ten-track album is billed as "developing towards an ambient mood, rather than dancefloor mood." A couple vocalists, Poly and Wyanna Friedrich, make guest appearances. On Sunday, June 9th, a release party will be thrown in Berlin at Suicide Circus's Sunday Social night. Along with Fenin, who will play live, Shitkatapult label mate Daniel Meteo and Leipzig's Map.ache are confirmed. Tracklist 01. Es Gibt Schlimmeres 02. Picking Up 03. Receiver 04. Tones And Drones 05. Silent Trail 06. Windsurf 07. Restless 08. Downhill (Album Version) 09. Same Pictures 10. Low Pressure (Digital Bonus) Shitkatapult will release Heartware on June 14th, 2013.
