- A rape allegation was made at the London nightclub this past Sunday.
Metropolitan Police are investigating an alleged rape at London club fabric.
The club's security reacted to the allegation, on the morning of July 7th, by blocking the exit for one-and-a-half hours. Yesterday the club posted a statement on its Facebook page: "We'd like to apologise to anybody who was unable to leave the venue between the hours of 5 AM and 6.30 AM on Saturday night.
"Our staff were acting under police advice in response to an alleged incident that happened inside the venue. fabric takes the safety of its patrons incredibly seriously.
"We're unable to comment further as the police are still carrying out their investigation."
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson told RA: "There was an allegation of rape made at 4.35 AM on Sunday, July 7th. The Police investigation into the incident is ongoing."
