Jonwayne has dropped the third and final cassette in his The Marion Morrison Mixtape series.
The one-time Breaking Through star is both a producer and MC, and has released on Matthewdavid's Leaving Records, Alpha Pup and Stones Throw. Marion Morrison marks the end of a trilogy of cassette releases for Wayne, though this one has also been released as a free download (there was no digital for the other two). Over 11 tracks Wayne spits over soul samples, slow-motion beats and even Pusha T's "Numbers On The Board." Guest appearances come from Flying Lotus' Captain Murphy alias, Zeroh, fellow Breaking Through alumnus (and recent Warp signee) Jeremiah Jae and his associate Oliver The 2nd.
