The Latvian experimental festival also features Andy Stott, Lustmord and Demdike Stare.
Taking place in Riga from October 10th through 12th, the festival has a stated aim of championing "unusual music." It will be held at various venues across the city, including the Splendid Palace cinema, the Palladium concert hall and the Latvian Railway Museum. The bill for the 2013 edition is topped by UK producer Shackleton. He'll be joined by Modern Love artists Andy Stott and Demdike Stare, dark ambient producer Lustmord, Evol and KTL, AKA the duo of Stephen O'Malley and Editions Mego head Peter Rehberg.
Each of the festival's three days has different theme: the first, Spaces, focuses on electro-acoustic performances, while the second, Chambers, showcases more dance-centric fare. The third and final day, Rooms, is given over to experimental chamber music.
