The Dutch artist also known as A Made Up Sound will mostly stick to the eastern half of the country for these upcoming dates.
The Dutch bass and techno purveyor, formally known as Dave Huismans, is based in New York for the time being—he played an all-night Deep Space set as A Made Up Sound at Cielo last Monday, and he's now confirmed for five more stateside DJ gigs as 2562, mostly on the eastern side of the country. Tomorrow night, he'll play Smart Bar in Chicago, with support coming from Abstract Science radio show host Chris Widman and Argot label head Steve Mizek. Then on Friday, he'll fly to Pittsburgh to play for Obvious and Humanaut at Belvedere's.
Next Saturday sees Huismans swing through Detroit for a Datswotsup! party at The Works, and later on next month he'll MakeItNew for a night at Middlesex Lounge in Boston, before playing another gig in New York by way of Brooklyn club Output. More bookings are reportedly in the works, before Huismans returns to Europe at the end of September.
