Distal, Clicks & Whistles and Mite will all play the show next month.
TXNO is a new series in Vancouver meant to explore "modern electronic rhythms" and spearheaded by locals HxdB, DJ Cure, 314 and Noda Events. The first one actually takes place this Saturday at UnderG studios with Oakland's Space Ghost headlining, and the second is a larger affair, inviting the core of Atlanta's Embassy crew over to the West Coast city.
The Embassy label was started three years ago by Distal and Mite. With releases from themselves and acts like Clicks & Whistles (who will also play the show), they've covered all sorts of experimental ground with a relatively freeform purview, touching on dubstep, trap, house, footwork and pretty much everything else under the sun. All three TXNO residents will also play the two-room party at Chapel Arts, with visuals from Lighthead.
