- Reworked versions of the Warp duo's "You Took Your Time" and "Made To Stray" land on vinyl and digital next month.
A pair of Mount Kimbie tracks are getting the remix treatment on an EP set for release next month on Warp Records.
Each of the tracks was taken from the London duo's sophomore album, Cold Spring Fault Less Youth, which arrived earlier this year. The remixers tapped from the project are all having pretty good years themselves. Kyle Hall, whose debut album dropped in April, is up first with a rework of "You Took Your Time." DJ Koze steps up to remix "Made To Stray," and it marks his first remix to appear since his album Amygdala. Lee Gamble didn't put out an album in 2013, but he released a pair of critically acclaimed full-lengths within the last 12 months. His take on "You Took Your Time" rounds out the vinyl release. Oneman, a DJ with an ever-rising profile, brings Jeremiah Jae into the mix for a digital-only version of "You Took Your Time."
