Heaton Park will be the venue at the two-day festival gears up for its next edition, which features Snoop Dogg, Disclosure and more.
The 2014 edition will take place in Heaton Park on Saturday, June 7th, and Sunday the 8th. Snoop Dogg will headline, while the supporting cast has a stronger focus on electronic music talent than previous years, with Bugged Out!, Crosstown Rebels, Jackathon, The Warehouse Project and Red Bull Music Academy all hosting stages.
Saturday highlights include Kendrick Lamar, Jamie Jones, Katy B, Seth Troxler, Maya Jane Coles, Eats Everything, Paul Woolford, Mount Kimbie, Zomby, The Martinez Brothers, Jacques Greene, a strong drum & bass presence (Andy C, Shy FX and High Contrast) and Flying Lotus, who will play twice: once under his usual name and once as Captain Murphy.
On Sunday the likes of Moderat, Disclosure, DJ Koze, SBTRKT, DJ EZ, Carl Cox, Kerri Chandler, Jimmy Edgar, Julio Bashmore, Danny Brown, Jamie xx, Ryan Hemsworth, Nina Kraviz, Scuba, David Rodigan, Damian Lazarus, Joy Orbison and Heidi will appear, with Âme and Dixon going back-to-back for three hours.
Earlier in the week Jon Hopkins, MK, Ben UFO and Pearson Sound were also confirmed to play Parklife Weekender through drip-fed announcements. More names will be added to the lineup in the coming months.
