- Mike Paradinas and Lara Rix-Martin will release their next full-length in April.
Heterotic have revealed details of their second album, Weird Drift, which is set for release on April 21st.
The husband-and-wife combo of Lara Rix-Martin and Planet Mu founder Mike Paradinas released their first collaborative album, Love & Devotion, last year. Weird Drift reportedly builds on the synth-driven sound of that record, containing "confident and thoughtful pop songs" with contributions from Vezelay, AKA Matthieu Le Berre, whose falsetto vocals feature throughout (Love & Devotion's vocal presence came from folk musician Gravenhurst). You can listen to snippets of the LP over on the Planet Mu website. The album will be preceded by a sampler 12-inch called Rain, due out via Planet Mu on February 24th.
