- Petit Cochon, due out in May, is reportedly a 'total burner.'
Prostitutes will release his next album on May 12th.
Cleveland producer James Donadio has seen his stock rise significantly in the past year—after releasing 2012's well-received Psychedelic Black LP on his own Stabudown imprint, he's appeared on Digitalis, Diagonal and had an instalment in the Mirror & Gate cassette series. Most recently, he released a double EP for experimental-leaning techno imprint Mira. Now, according to Juno Plus, he's signed to Editions Mego subsidiary Spectrum Spools (also based out of Cleveland) for his latest project, Petit Cochon.
It's Donadio's third album under the Prostitutes alias so far, and Petit Cochon—French for "piglet"—reportedly navigates a middle ground between his noisier work and his more recent club-friendly material. Describing the LP as a "a total burner, no exceptions," the press release promises "cuts for the club heads and for those locked away from the rest of the world."
