  • Markus Manowski, better known as house producer Daze Maxim, will exhibit a collection of paintings titled Nothing Can Go Wrong at the L'Atelier-ksr gallery in Berlin from April 5th. Alongside his work as Daze Maxim, Polish-born Manowski has been painting for years. The upcoming exhibition will be his first solo showing at L'Atelier-ksr, a gallery space in Kruezberg. Much of the abstract-leaning work that will be on display has been inspired by found photographs, but bares little resemblance to the original subject matter. There are also a number of portraits. According to the exhibition's press release, the paintings in Nothing Can Go Wrong follow a progressive narrative, with Manowski using "a dark palette to piece together atmospheres and moments bound between the gloomy and the sublime."
