- The new vinyl-only label will launch later this month with a collaborative track.
The Martinez Brothers and Seth Troxler are behind a new imprint called Tuskegee Music.
Described as a "label of cultural heritage," Tuskegee is a vinyl-only endeavour from the house music superstars that also promises "some very special releases to come." According to an interview the three did with VICE's I-D, it's largely inspired by their growing up in the '90s around the influence of the Paradise Garage—after meeting at DC10 a few years ago, they realized they had similar backgrounds and experiences despite hailing from different cities.
The first release is a one-sided 12-inch with a collaborative track from the trio, the acid-inspired "Space & Time." The flipside will feature a logo etched into the vinyl. Future releases will come from the Brooklyn brothers, Troxler and William Kouam Djoko, among others. You can check out clips over at the label's distributor.
