  • Let's Play House will hold its fifth birthday party on July 11th. Starting back in 2009, Jacques Renault's house and disco concern—which is both an event series and a record label—has become a fixture on the New York scene. They've released music from the likes of HNNY, Dead Rose Music Company and Cosmic Kids, and hosted Soul Clap, Mark E, Tiger & Woods and DJ Nature, among others. Their fifth anniversary event will bring back some of their favourite guests from over the years, but so far only Renault himself is confirmed, along with Berlin-based producer Urulu, who has a release on LPH coming in June and also headlined the party in January. The event is a collaboration with doNYC and Pabst Blue RIbbon and will take place at Rough Trade, starting early at 9 PM and going until late. It's free before midnight with RSVP, which you can do here. You can check out clips from Urulu's upcoming Let's Play House EP here, and stream a recent mix from boss man Renault below.
