Traversable Wormhole has also been billed for the three-day Berlin festival.
Schlagstrom! has been taking place since 2003. Its focus is on industrial, new wave and hard-edged ambient music, bringing a few dozen acts to relatively unknown locations in Berlin's outskirts with each edition. This year, the festival will take over Bahnbetriebswerk Berlin-Schöneweide, a disused railway hub in the city's west. Three days of music have been locked in. The more well-known names billed include Berlin locals Monolake and Traversable Wormhole, who will play on the first and second days respectively. The rest of the lineup comprises outfits like Absolute Body Control, Tanz ohne Musik and Portion Control.
The festival will take place August 1st through 3rd. Three stages will be in action on Friday and Saturday, while just one, dedicated to ambient music, operates on Sunday.
