  • Chancha Vía Circuito is in the midst of a European tour, with five shows scheduled across the next 10 days. As explained in the RA review of his 2010 LP, Río Arriba, Argentinian Pedro Canale is a global ambassador for the digital cumbia sound (a mix of tradition South American styles with post-dubstep electronics.) With a new album, Amansara, on the way, Canale recently embarked on an eight-stop tour of Europe, kicking off in Gothenburg on June 6th before playing two shows in Portugal. On Thursday, June 12th, Canale will play the first of four Spain dates, joining BEGUN at a Día de la Música event in Madrid's Teatro del Arte. On Saturday he journeys to Banda Aparte club in Tenerife, before heading back north for a set at Latin American festival Guacamayo in Madrid on Sunday. After a couple of days rest, Canale will round out the tour on Wednesday, June 18th, at Barcelona's Hotel Pulitzer. Featuring Miriam García on vocals, the first single from the new album, "Coplita", will hit the shops next week. You can listen to it in full below:
