The multi-instrumentalist will play a Stable Music party in Australia this July.
The composer and pianist is known for his eclectic repertoire of classical, experimental and electronic music. Tristano's work in the latter field has seen him collaborate with pioneers like Carl Craig and Moritz von Oswald, while late last year he teamed up with French stalwart Agoria for a record of melodic techno on Innervisions.
For his first Australian visit, the Luxembourg artist will perform twice, beginning with a piano duo concert at the Melbourne Recital Centre on Wednesday, July 2nd with recent collaborator Alice Sara Ott. On the 5th he'll launch into club mode, playing live at The Liberty Social with Stable Music regulars Matt Radovich, Dean Benson, Adrian Bell and Safari among those on support duties.
