- Väth will mark the big one in style at the 20,000-capacity Maimarkthalle.
- Sven Väth will host a 50th birthday party in Mannheim this October. The party, going down on Saturday, October 25th, isn't your average 50th. It'll happen at Maimarkthalle, the 20,000-capacity home of Time Warp Festival. (Time Warp are co-hosting the event with Väth's Cocoon brand.) Väth is the only confirmed DJ so far—whether he'll call on a supporting cast remains to be seen. Despite nearing the half-century, Väth is showing no signs of letting up. He recently announced details of a new mix for Stereo Deluxe's Coming Home series, and is currently in the midst of his 15th season with Cocoon on Ibiza.
