  • Submerse will release his first album, Slow Waves, next month. The UK producer, real name Rob Orme, has been crafting lush, laid-back beats—touching on 2-step, garage and hip-hop—for about five years now. Slow Waves has him returning to Project Mooncircle, a Berlin imprint that's already put out a few of his records. The album is described as "a collection of multi-layered memories, stacked like grainy polaroids in an old box in the closet or under the bed while the colours fade." It'll come in some limited versions—a 2xLP vinyl edtion, a handmade and hand-painted cassette, and a CD (with a bonus track courtesy of flau, a label from Tokyo which will be issuing the album in Japan)—as well as on digital formats.
