Black Acre will release the debut album from Clap! Clap! this September.
Clap! Clap! is a project of Italian producer Digi G'Alessio that's been active since 2013. Across 17 tracks, Tayi Bebba is touted as a tour of an imagined island, with "each song representing a location, event or ritual." The album comes with a map of this island, as well as extensive notes about each track.
Sound-wise, you can expect something in keeping with this year's Tambacounda EP for Black Acre, which offered an amalgamation of house, footwork and hip-hop. And like Tambacounda, it features a collaboration with DJ Khalab. You can hear the third track, "The Rainstick Fable," below:
