Stroboscopic Artefacts will ring in their fifth year with a series of five EPs.
The label, helmed by Berlin-based Italian producer Lucy, has spent the last half-decade exploring techno's experimental side. Though they've released their share of dance floor material, SA has never shied away from more adventurous sounds, particularly through their Monad and Stellate series.
Over the course of these five EPs, which begin filtering out in September, they'll explore the spectrum of styles they've staked out, with nearly all of the artists who have featured on the label over the years making an appearance. Donato Dozzy, Kangding Ray, Tommy Four Seven, Xhin, Chevel, L.B. Dub Corp (AKA Luke Slater) and the label boss himself are some of the names we can expect to see in the series. The first EP, characterized as one of the more floor-oriented of the bunch, features Rrose, Perc, Pfirter and Lakker.
