  • A new label in Poland, Technosoul, has just launched. The label gets its name from the Technosoul crew—Blazej Malinowski, Dtekk, Essence, Gem, Michal Wolski and Piotr Klejment—who've been throwing parties in Poland (primarily in Warsaw) for about five years now. They've hosted a who's who of techno talent, with guests in 2014 including Shifted, Abdulla Rashim and Sigha, not to mention previous bookings like Surgeon and Inigo Kennedy. If its initial releases are any indicator, the label looks to highlight tracks from members of the Technosoul group along with remixes from an international range of producers. Technosoul's first record, called 1984, features two tracks from Klejment, "1984" and "Black March," along with remixes from two artists who've also appeared at events with Technosoul in Perc (who's busy with his own label's upcoming tenth anniversary) and Sleeparchive. It'll come with a graphic insert and a mix CD from Dtekk. 1984 drops this week, and looking ahead to autumn and winter, the label's next moves are EPs from Wolski (with Orphx and Fluxion each turning in a remix) and Malinowski, though release dates and further details are still TBA. For now, you can give 1984 a try with the stream below.
