Icee Hot announce new EP from Roche

- The September release party sees the San Francisco producer playing live on a bill that also features Seven Davis Jr. and Pender Street Steppers.
- On September 13th, San Francisco party and label Icee Hot will host Seven Davis Jr. and Pender Street Steppers while also celebrating its ninth release, Depths/Seers by Roche. Following the success of One, Seven Davis Jr. has toured Europe and put out records on Apron and Classic. RA spent some time with Davis on his debut overseas tour for the first episode of our FastForward series. Pender Street Steppers and associated Mood Hut label have quickly established a reputation for tunes that are psychedelic and also reverent to classic forms. RA's Angus Finlayson referred to their sound as "house music suffused with warmth and contentment" in his review of Pender Street Steppers member Jack J's recent 12-inch. Hardware head Roche will play live on the 13th. He's the latest artist to work with Icee Hot, which has focused on Bay Area talent such as Avalon Emerson and Bobby B. Roche, AKA Ben Winans, ran the Solos label with former San Francisco resident Bookworms until 2010, and has also released music on Mathematics and 100% Silk.
