- The Chicago producer, known for his solo work on L.I.E.S. and Traxx collaboration Mutant Beat Dance, has assembled the album from archival material.
The first album from Beau Wanzer is coming soon.
Rush Hour posted details of the release to their website. Though there's still no firm release date, they've revealed the full tracklist and some morsels about what we can expect from the record. Wanzer, who hails from Chicago, has attracted attention recently for his Mutant Beat Dance collaboration with Traxx, his Civil Duty project with Shawn O'Sullivan and solo material released on labels like L.I.E.S.—but Beau Wanzer collects material from before his recent run of tracks. The 12 cuts here date from 2002 to 2008, in styles ranging from lo-fi, slow-mo house to distorted electro. Bearing the catalog number BW-01, it looks like this will be a self-released affair.
