  • Berlin-based label Repitch's next record is a split EP featuring Sleeparchive and Mike Parker. The untitled release, following on from AnD's Esoteric Systems EP for Repitch, brings together a transatlantic pair of longtime producers each known for their singular take on techno. Sleeparchive, real name Roger Semsroth, is a Berlin stalwart who over the past few years has turned in a run of records on local institution Tresor (and he recently outlined plans for a new album from his alias Skanfrom). Here he's contributed two full tracks, "Fifth Station" and "White Angel Breadline," along with two locked grooves. On the flip is Parker, a US producer and university art lecturer living in Buffalo, New York. He runs the label Geophone—home to much of his output—and has also connected with tuned-in imprints like Prologue, Mote-Evolver and Semantica (along with the relatively newer Shipwrec offshoot Deep Sound Channel). He's previously appeared on Repitch as well, with a remix of Ascion and D. Carbone, two of the label's founders, back in 2011. This time he's on board with two of his own cuts, "Flying Nerves" and "Lustrum." Tracklist A1 Sleeparchive - Fifth Station A2 Sleeparchive - LOOP1 A3 Sleeparchive - LOOP2 A4 Sleeparchive - White Angel Breadline B1 Mike Parker - Flying Nerves B2 Mike Parker - Lustrum Repitch will release Sleeparchive and Mike Parker's split EP on September 19th, 2014.
