- The Dallas DJ, otherwise known as TX Connect, will play Mango's Parking Lot Party early next month.
- Gavin Guthrie will headline a night at Mango's in Houston on Friday, October 3rd. Hailing from Dallas, Guthrie is also known as TX Connect. His wiry analog house tracks have featured on tuned-in imprints like L.I.E.S. and Crème Organization, the latter of which issued his debut album a few months ago. (Earlier in 2014, he had records released on two newer labels, Adelaide Soundworks and Bad Mums Club.) Another out-of-towner—Austin DJ and Obsolete Future artist Bill Converse—is slotted in for a three-deck set, and on the local front will be John Calero.
