  • Pacific Rhythm has started an imprint of the same name. The Vancouver-area online record store was started last year as a way for North American buyers to purchase records without getting hit by heavy shipping fees from Europe. It's since blossomed into a party series featuring Floating Points, Numero Group and more. Now the crew have stepped into the realm of label managing, and the first release, Rhythms Of The Pacific Volume 1, will be a various artists four-tracker due to hit on October 20th. Highlighting Vancouver's increasingly busy local scene, this one features new tracks from 1080p signee Lnrdcroy—including an extended version of this year's "Sunrise Market"—along with a new remix from Mood Hut associate Hashman Deejay and a tune from Cloudface, who recently released an EP on Black Opal. You can check out clips below.
