- The next edition of the annual dance music event in Stratford-upon-Avon has been called off.
GlobalGathering will not take place in 2015, festival organisers have said.
The event has been running annually since 2001. A statement posted on the festival's website reads: "After 13 years of delivering one of the UK's most successful electronic dance music events, the promoters of the GlobalGathering UK festival have decided that the festival will take a break in 2015 in order for all elements of the show to be reviewed ensuring GG remains at the heart of the UK dance market."
The statement continues: "This will not affect any of the GG club shows in the UK or international GG events. Thanks to all of our loyal fans for your continued support, please check the website for further updates." (via FACT.)
The 2014 edition of GlobalGathering took place in July at Long Marston Airfield, with Dixon, Skream and The Prodigy among the names involved.
