- The Diagonal Records man has a two-track EP in the pipeline.
XL Recordings's latest signing is Diagonal Records founder Powell.
The producer's ragged, idiosyncratic brand of electronic music has mostly been released through Diagonal, the label he runs with Jaime Williams. (He recently announced a two-disc compilation of his previous Diagonal 12-inches.) His debut record for XL is a two-track affair. Though a release date hasn't been confirmed, we know it'll comprise two tracks—"Sylvester Stallone" and "Smut"—both of which Powell used in a recent guest mix for BleeD on Rinse FM. You can also hear clips of the tunes on Rush Hour's website.

Sylvester Stallone/Smut is coming soon on XL Recordings.
