  • PAN has announced details of joint album by Florian Hecker and Mark Leckey called Hecker Leckey Sound Voice Chimera. The LP has two parts—"I" and "II"—both of which are more than 17 minutes long. (A third recording, "Down," appears on the digital version.) The collaboration dates back to 2010, when German musician Hecker and Leckey, a multidisciplinary artist, presented Hecker Leckey Sound Voice Chimera as part of a two-day performance titled Push And Pull at London's Tate Modern. PAN calls the recording "a mutant configuration of two genetically discrete solo works"—namely "3 Channel Chronics" by Hecker and Leckey's performance piece "GreenScreenRefrigeratorAction," which Hecker "decomposes, modulates, and re-synthesizes." The LP will be accompanied by text written by art historian Alex Kitnick. Hecker and PAN's Bill Kouligas designed the sleeve for Hecker Leckey Sound Voice Chimera. Tracklist 01. I 02. II 03. Down PAN will release Hecker Leckey Sound Voice Chimera on March 23rd, 2015.
