- The NYC synth wizard will release a white label via Ron Morelli's imprint this month.
Gavin Russom will drop an untitled white label 12-inch on L.I.E.S. later this month.
Though Ron Morelli left New York a while ago, the collaboration with Russom makes sense due to the latter's deep roots in NYC's analog driven dance scene. Russom first emerged as DFA's in-house synth inventor while also releasing kosmische records as part of Delia Gonzales & Gavin Russom. He'd go on to play live with LCD Soundsystem, start a group called The Crystal Ark and release a couple of solo EPs on Entropy Trax last year. The label says the L.I.E.S. three-tracker contains "hints of many different electronic strains."
