- The Queens venue will introduce a new event series starting this weekend.
- Hang Time will launch this weekend with an Umor Rex label showcase. The space will be available for a diverse array of programming, organizers explain in a recent statement. Hang Time will also host "films, educational and community programming alongside the occasional open hang sessions for anyone to bring records, instruments, and work gloves." The first Hang Time event, which goes down this Saturday, February 28th, will showcase artists from the Mexico City-based experimental imprint Umor Rex. Label artist James Place will celebrate the release of his LP Living On Superstition with a live hardware set. alongside Kara-Lis Coverdale & LXV and Cienfuegos, who are also playing live.
