  • Allen & Heath has welcomed a new mixer to their Xone line, the Xone:43. The new mixer should look familiar to anyone who's used the digital DB2 and DB4, but the approach is a bit different. This one is analog, and it comes with a feature those mixers were missing: the voltage-controlled filter you'll find on A&H's industry-standard Xone:92, with high-, low- and band-pass configurations, filter-sweep and "mild-to-wild" controls. The Xone:43 also features a system called X:FX, which allows you to route from external effects units and control them in the mix with a knob on each channel. In addition to the four main channels, which each come with a VCA fader and three-band EQ, there's an extra mic/auxiliary channel with two-band EQ. Watch the video below for a closer look.
The Xone:43 is now available from Allen & Heath for a suggested retail price of €899.
