Rawaat tops the bill for In Training's April Shower event in Cleveland on Saturday, April 25th.
The monthly queer series, which happens at Now That's Class, kicked off last fall, and its eclectic bookings have included members of Tempe's Ascetic House crew, Chicago's Steve Mizek and Savile, Funerals and Navy Shirt. Three Detroit-based artists are billed for this one. DJ sets will come from Lobster Theramin affiliate Rawaat and Justin Carver, the mind behind Something Cold, a party and label that champions minimal synth and related experimental music. Community Corporation, who's released on Argot and Crisis Urbana, and who DJ'd at the February edition of In Training, will play live. Another live set will come from Cleveland's Ilza (AKA Liz Osborne), with residents Father Of Two and Kiernan Laveaux handling warm-up duties with a back-to-back set.
As usual, admission is a cool five dollars and open to those 18 and over. Gear up for the event with this set from Father Of Two.
