- Plot Defender is due out near the end of the month.
UK experimental label Type Records will release an album from Nochexxx, AKA Dave Henson, titled Plot Defender.
Henson's career stretches back to the late '90s. He was the keyboardist for the post-rock group Gwei-Lo, which disbanded following the death of guitarist Al Brooker. Since then he's released a range of electronic music through aliases like Mouse Finding The Key, Ascoltare and more recently CHXFX and Nochexxx. As Nochexxx, Henson has produced hard-to-classify tracks (though gritty electro, acid, techno and new beat are points of reference) for labels like Ramp and Werkdiscs. Plot Defender, the third Nochexxx LP, marks his Type debut, and a press release promises "clattering tape-distorted rhythms and synth squelches that make the TB-303 sound well-mannered."
