Tom Jenkinson has shows lined up in Japan, South Korea, China and Australia this month.
The Warp Records mainstay has been cueing up dozens of live dates since details of his latest album, Damogen Furies, emerged back in February. Sandwiched between sets at Berghain/Panorama Bar in Berlin and Movement in Detroit, Tom Jenkinson's five-date Asia-Pacific tour begins with a performance at Yebisu The Garden Hall in Tokyo on May 15th. The following day he heads over to Kyoto to play at Stihl No Mori Kyoto for The Star Festival, which also features DJ Koze and Peter Van Hoesen. On the 18th he heads for South Korea, where he'll appear at the Seoul Museum Of Art with Tacit Group and IDIOTAPE on support. Shanghai outfit S.T.D. will host Jenkinson's China gig at Arkham on the 19th, before he flies down for one Australian show at the Sydney Opera House on May 22nd as part of the city's Vivid winter festival.
