The Acid Test producer will take to the road for most of next month.
The Vienna-based producer, real name Johannes Auvinen, released his seventh album, Ode, for Los Angeles-based label Acid Test late last year. In terms of live performance, Auvinen travels with a number of Roland machines, adding his own vocals to his often somber beats.
He'll join the massive, Robot Heart-associated Further Future lineup to kick off the tour, where he'll play alongside John Tejada and Tim Hecker. Following Further Future, he'll travel to Miami before heading to NYC for a rare DJ set at Bushwick bar Bossa Nova Civic Club. He'll wrap up the first North American leg in D.C. alongside collaborators Cassegrain.
Mid-month, Auvinen is back home for a date in Vienna before playing a collaborative set with Cassegrain at Berghain to mark the release of Function's Berghain 07 mix. He'll head back to North America for a pair of Canadian gigs in Toronto and Montreal, followed by a TBA LA engagement at the end of the month.
