Hakim Murphy headlines Academics in Vancouver

- The Chicago selector will make his Canadian debut later this month.
- Academics will host Chicago's Hakim Murphy in Vancouver on May 22nd. This instalment of the young house and techno party will feature the Canadian debut of Murphy—a former footwork dancer and house producer whose career stretches back into the '90s. He's released for labels like Plan B and Metamorphic, along with his own Synapsis and Machining Dreams labels. Murphy is also one half of Innerspace Halflife with Ike Release, among several other projects. He'll play at the Red Gate alongside locals Scott W. and DJ D.Dee, plus Mood Hut associate Local Artist.
