- A new party series celebrating the art of the extended set will begin at Ancient World this month.
A new Adelaide party series called Dance With... will launch at Ancient World on May 30th.
Each gig will focus on one guest DJ who will play an extended set spanning a minimum of three hours. For the first edition, local music store Transition Records will be celebrating its fourth birthday with two staff members spinning over a seven hour period: Hans will cover then 9 PM to 11 PM slot, then Cuckoo Music head 12'' Phildo will be on headline duties until closing time at 4 AM. The venue will make use of the Funktion One system from Cuckoo Bar, the Adelaide club which closed its doors late last year.
