Into The Valley debuts in Sweden with Dixon and Ricardo Villalobos

- The new event has booked a number of heavyweights for a two-day session in a limestone quarry this July.
- A new festival called Into The Valley will take place a few kilometres north of Rättvik, Sweden, on July 31st and August 1st. Almost every artist booked for Into The Valley is a big name. A heavy house contingent includes melody-friendly selectors like Dixon, Âme, Tale Of Us, Benoit & Sergio and John Talabot, while Ricardo Villalobos, Zip, Sonja Moonear, DeWalta and the [a:rpia:r] crew of Rhadoo, Raresh and Petre Inspirescu feature among the minimally-inclined jocks. Those after disco have DJ Harvey, Floating Points and Motor City Drum Ensemble to look forward to, while Ben Klock, Carl Craig and home grown acts Adam Beyer, Joel Mull and Ida Engberg will likely dish out techno. Nicolas Jaar, Ben UFO, Four Tet, Helena Hauff and DJ Koze are also confirmed. The festival will take place inside a limestone quarry deep in a forest on the outskirts of Rättvik. A variety of accommodation options—including camping and nearby hotels—will be available.
