  • Damon Bell's debut album, Blues For The Libyan, will drop on June 1st. The Oakland-based artist has been a staple of Aybee's Deepblak since 2010, using the label as a platform for a varied sound that touches on techno, dub, house and afrobeat (he's also had EPs on Meda Fury and Soundofspeed). Blues For The Libyan is his first full-length, and features vocalist Khalil Anthony on the opener "Chromosome Replacement" and Deepblak label-mate Afrikan Sciences on "Lybian Ether."
