- Dan Lopatin's label has organized a show featuring Thug Entrancer as part of next month's Brooklyn festival.
Software will host a showcase at the Northside Festival on Saturday, June 13th.
While primarily geared towards indie, punk and garage rock, the weeklong Northside Festival boasts a handful of electronic acts this year, including Shigeto, Container and a Fathers of Footwork gig at Palisades. Software Records, run by Dan Lopatin (AKA Oneohtrix Point Never), will present their Saturday night showcase at East Williamsburg venue Aviv. Thug Entrancer, whose debut album Death After Life emerged on Software last year, will headline with a live set. Gabi, an experimental composer and vocalist who recently signed to the imprint, is also on the bill, as are Co La, Jefre Cantu-Ledesma and Ben Zimmerman.
