Nicolas Jaar, Four Tet to play Symbiosis Gathering 2015

- Symbiosis Gathering will take place September 17th through 20th at Woodward Reservoir Regional Park. Now in their tenth year, Symbiosis has invited some high-profile touring acts to play alongside Golden State jocks who appear regularly on the outdoor party circuit. Nicolas Jaar sits atop the bill—he's booked for a DJ set. Kieran Hebden, better known Four Tet, is also booked, as are Pantha Du Prince and XL Records signee Kaytranada. Crosstown Rebels is well-represented with label boss Damian Lazarus set to play live alongside his band Ancient Moons. German associate Acid Pauli is also on the docket. J. Phlip, Bob Moses and Blond:ish will also spin alongside a smattering of indie rock acts like Cocorosie and Tune-Yards. Symbiosis takes place across several lakeside stages on Woodward Reservoir near Yosemite National Park. Galen, who looks after Bay Area open air events Sunset Sound System, will appear, as will the entirety of the Desert Hearts crew, whose twice-yearly Southern California functions have become well-loved among the Burning Man set.
