First acts revealed for Simple Things 2015

- Dean Blunt, Ron Trent and Godspeed You! Black Emperor will all make the trip to Bristol for the festival's fifth edition in October.
- Initial details have emerged of this year's Simple Things Festival, which returns to Bristol on October 23rd and 24th. Simple Things has been running annually since 2011, showcasing acts from techno, house and beyond at various spaces dotted around the city. Like last year, the action will be split across two days, with Montreal post-rockers Godspeed You! Black Emperor opening the festival with a performance at Colston Hall on Friday the 23rd. The main event on Saturday will run from midday through 6 AM, pulling together a heady mix of bands, live acts and DJs across local venues Lakota, The Firestation, The Coroner's Court and the O2 Academy. Battles, Factory Floor, Lone, Dean Blunt, Romare, DJ Funk and PC Music's Danny L Harle will line up alongside the likes of Ron Trent, Objekt, Hunee, Barnt, Helena Hauff, nd_baumecker, Mike Skinner and Discodromo. More names are still to be announced.
